The Adventures of Pedal-Paddle

Jay Perdue - Owner of Pedal-Paddle

Hi, I'm Jay Perdue, the inventor of Pedal-Paddle. I grabbed the first unit off the line and called it my own. It has been my quest to put as many people and miles on both land and water, on the first Pedal-Paddle as my busy schedule would allow. As of August 4th Pedal-Paddle #1 has carried 107 people of all shapes and sizes for 234 miles on water and 67 miles on land; water is just more fun.

Although rated at 100 to 225 lbs. kids from 70 lbs., tiptoeing on the pedals, to 255 lbs. men have had fun rides on the water. Pedal-Paddle #1 has had no failures of any kind and shows no signs of wear at all, although the chain has a slight orange color to it. Pedal-Paddle #1 has been seen on these lakes to date: Lake Meredith, Lake Tanglewood, Greenbelt Lake, Possum Kingdom Lake, Lake Mineral Wells, Lake Benbrook, Lake Granberry, Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Joe Pool, Lake Whitney, Lake Ray Hubbard, White Rock Lake, Lake Texhoma, Lewisville Lake, and Lake Bridgeport. And we tested the new motorized Pedal-Paddle, for the first time along with Pedal-Paddle #1 on Grapevine Lake near DFW Airport. "Mo-Pedal-Paddle" worked great the first time on both water and land and adds a whole new dimension to Pedal-Paddle with land speeds in excess of 20 mph! What a blast!

Maybe we'll be on your lake soon; but I hope you'll beat us there and be the first on your lake with a Pedal-Paddle! Almost every time we launch Pedal-Paddle #1 where there's a crowd it results in cheers and hand-claps. After watching us ride around the lake on land scoping out our in and out spots we have a lot of attention. Then when we roll down to the water, ramp or not, fold it out in less than 60 seconds and head out across the water, it must seem unbelievable! But it is! I hope you'll join me on the water. There's never been a vehicle so easy to get to and on the water. We're starting a whole new thing here that requires a whole new thought process. No trailer, no car, no pick-up, just your house to the water, on the water and back. It's great! Until next time!

God Bless,
Jay Perdue
